If at first you don't succeed (with Tyler's deck), try try again (with Maxwell's version)... Or something like that. After a tenuous game against Justin to kick off Lackey Grand Prix #26 using a deck from Tyler, Maxwell (who worked on the deck with Tyler) sent me his most recent version and I decided to try it out against my Round 2 opponent--Joseph, "jrob2451" Roberts. Maxwell's version of the deck kept the same core offensive components with a few slight adjustments in Dominant and Good Enhancement choices, and then completely overhauled the defensive and Lost Soul lineups to help the offense get set up a little more quickly, which may just be the boost that the deck could use to help avoid the whiff games like I had with Tyler's version. Joe is someone who is fairly predictable in his deck choice, at least for the offense, but that also means that his skills with the deck are quite refined. As a bonus for this week, since our game went relatively quickly, we were able to get another one in right after, so enjoy the double-header!
